Welcome to the Totnes community assembly project. We believe that neighbours coming together can strengthen community and change how decisions are made in Totnes - giving space for every voice, we'll unleash the common-sense wisdom we all share.

We're running regular meet-ups and surveys with neighbours, bringing everyone into the conversations. Together, we'll listen, deliberate, and act together on shared priorities. No single view dominates; all are invited, all are heard.

Talk & Taster Community Assembly

Join for the 9th Totnes assembly & talk. Dr. Larch Maxey will share how Assemblies can address our most pressing local and global challenges. Plus Klina Jordan, Co-founder of Make Votes Matter, will share how our toxic political system could become a real democracy, from local charters to equal votes and liquid democracy. Followed by a taster community assembly.
