Assemble
TOTNES
welcome
welcome
Welcome to the Totnes community assembly project. We believe that neighbours coming together can strengthen community and change how decisions are made in Totnes - giving space for every voice, we'll unleash the common-sense wisdom we all share.
We're running regular meet-ups and surveys with neighbours, bringing everyone into the conversations. Together, we'll listen, deliberate, and act together on shared priorities. No single view dominates; all are invited, all are heard.

Community Assembly on AI and Data Centres
This assembly will feed into the first ever citizens assembly on AI and data centres. The House of the People, a democratic alternative to the highly corrupt House of Lords, will take our questions and suggestions on how AI should be regulated. If you want to talk and be heard or just listen to others and take part in the democratic process, we'd love to see you there!

JOIN HERESupport community-powered democracy
This work cannot happen without your support. If you believe communities should decide their own future, please consider donating today. Assemblies give local people what politics doesn’t: a real say in what matters. Your support helps create spaces where voices are heard, divisions are bridged, and communities organise for change that's been decided together.
